This is a great documentary short made not long after the eruption in 1980 – if you're from the Northwest it will make you proud.

KCTS9 was in black and white?! Do we really have those accents? The way people talk it sounds like it's 1950.

WTF, I'm old too!

I remember my parents goofing around with their friends wearing the ash masks--they'd been drinking. Surprise, surprise.
